The Sanrio Gift Gate Asakusa store is a must-see for fans of the cute and unique Sanrio characters. The shop features a giant Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters, including Cinnamoroll and Gudetama, who are available in all shapes and forms, from plush dolls to apparel. Gifts range from stuffed animals and high-end fashion accessories to boxes of sweets that make perfect omiyage (souvenirs).
This famous gift shop is also accessible– it’s about a 3-minute walk from Tokyo Metro (subway) Ginza Line Asakusa station. Conveniently, you can purchase Sanrio Puroland tickets here!
3.) Hotel Okinawa
Sanrio fans, rejoice! For kawaii enthusiasts all across the world, Hotel Okinawa is a must-see. Every nook and cranny has been thoughtfully decorated, notably the enormous yet cute plushie tree in the hotel foyer. Don’t forget to snap some Instagram photos when you’re here!
