How To Enable Fast Charging in Samsung Galaxy S21 In Seconds

You may not know this when you purchase your snazzy new Samsung S21, but Samsung disabled fast charging in its latest flagship phone by default this year. Fast charging is most likely disabled in order to extend the life of your battery. If you’re using a charger that isn’t Samsung’s 25W charger, you’ll want to turn this on as well.

Here’s how you can easily do it:

  • Tap Settings
  • Then tap on “Battery and Device Care”.
  • From there, tap on “Battery”.
  • At the bottom of that screen, you will view an option for “More battery settings” tap on that.

There are three options under the Charging category on that screen. The first one, Quick Charging, is turned off by default.

As you can see there, Super Fast Charging and Fast Wireless Charging are turned on. To turn on quick charging, simply tap the toggle next to “Fast Charging.”

And voilà! Quick and easy, right? You can now enjoy the convenience of not having to wait for your smartphone to charge for long hours anymore.
