Windows 11 Now On Samsung Galaxy Book Series

The Galaxy Book line from Samsung Electronics, which is designed to integrate with other Galaxy devices such as your tablet, smartphone, and wearables, is set to grow even more powerful.

On October 5, Microsoft released Windows 11, an operating system (OS) with upgraded features such as split-screen and multi-window UI options, expanded availability of Android apps for PC, a sleeker interface, and more, which perfectly complements the Galaxy Book series and its focus on mobile-forward computing experiences.

What’s New

  • You can use Link to Windows to connect your Galaxy smartphone to your Galaxy Book series device to increase productivity by taking advantage of the larger screen real estate and using your favorite mobile apps in a PC environment.
  • For Galaxy Book users, Samsung has released Bixby on Windows to give an easier method to connect with your computer. You can search for files, open apps, and Settings, and even manage devices inside your SmartThings-registered device ecosystem with simple voice queries.

Only the Galaxy Book, Galaxy Book Odyssey, Galaxy Book Go, Galaxy Book Pro 360, and Galaxy Book Pro are compatible with Bixby on Windows.

The Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 5G will be the company’s first laptop to run Windows 11. Existing Galaxy Book devices are also compatible with Windows 11, and owners are eligible for a free upgrade. The official Microsoft website has further information on the upgrade procedure.
