Best Android 12 Features You Don’t Want To Miss Out

The newest update will make you gasp! The most significant design change in Android history is included in Android 12. It features a new aesthetic makeover that allows you to completely change the look and feel of your phone.

Android will feel more personal and active than ever before, with better animations, more intuitive notifications, quick settings, and new widgets for your favorite people. Watch this video to take a look at what you’re getting!

Best Features:

Material You

This is one of the most significant visual changes to the OS in some years. Color and personalization are heavily emphasized, with users able to select their own color swatches, contrast, element sizes, line widths, and more. In comparison to the previous version, this one is more visually stunning than ever.

Personalization

You’ll be able to completely personalize your phone with a custom color palette and redesigned widgets. You select your wallpaper, and the system UI determines which colors are dominating or complementing, and attractive. The colors are then applied throughout the OS, including the notification shade, lock screen, volume controls, new widgets, and more.

Privacy Dashboard

This feature gives you more transparency into which apps are accessing your data and more controls, so you can make uniform decisions about how much personal information your apps can access.

Another cool and convenient feature is a new indicator that has been added to the top right of your status bar to let you know when your apps are accessing your microphone and camera. If you want to disable app access to these sensors for the entire system, you can toggle it in Quick Settings, which is another nifty feature Android 12 has to offer.

Notification Shade Redesign

The notification shade is more intuitive and fun, displaying your app alerts in a clear, at-a-glance format. It’s been redesigned to accommodate Google Pay and Home Controls while still allowing for personalization, so you can keep everything you need in one convenient location.

Quick Tap

When you turn Quick Tap on, you can pick whether you want to capture a screenshot, access the Assistant, play or pause media, see recent apps, show notifications, or open a specific app by double-tapping on the back of the phone. You may also choose whether you want the phone to require more forceful touches to prevent accidental launches.

What do you think about the new update? This is the most exciting update Android has released yet! As of September 2021, these are the features in the Android 12 beta version that Google has rolled out so far. There will be a slew of modifications by the time the official release arrives, including a major makeover of the user interface, as well as new personalization and privacy features.
